PBF Volunteer

Paisley Town Hall & Central Library 25th – 28th April

The 2024 Paisley Book Festival, themed “Imagine Something Different,” invites attendees to embark on a transformative journey into the world of stories and storytelling. Embracing the festival’s renowned radical edge, this year’s theme encourages us to step beyond conventional boundaries and seek out new ideas with the help of award-winning writers from Scotland and beyond. Through a diverse programme that challenges and inspires, we’ll be exploring the endless possibilities of the imagination.

Paisley Book Festival is a vibrant event where literary artists: host talks, workshops and other events.

You do not need to know the artists work or have read their books; the events are engaging and interesting for all.

If you are interested in seeing first hand how the festival runs, we would love you to come and take part as an Events Assistant Volunteer and/or a Blogging and/or Social Media Volunteer.

If you are friendly, a strong communicator, with a positive can-do attitude then The Volunteer Events role would be suited to you.

If you love writing about events, setting the scene, recalling the atmosphere and story, as well as the audience reaction, then Volunteer Blogger would be the role, and/or if you are conversant across social media channels and understand the dos and don’ts of social media then we would love to hear from you too!

If you would like more information about any of our three volunteer roles, please contact Anne Kemp.
