Opportunities at the Paisley Book Festival

Writer-in-Residence 2023
Following two successful years of the Writer-in-Residence position, we are pleased to once again be inviting submissions from an experienced writer to be our Writer-in-Residence for the 2023 Paisley Book Festival. The Writer in Residence at the Paisley Book Festival presents an opportunity for a mid-career writer to engage creatively with the festivals’ remit, programme and themes, and to use their skills and experience to support the work and passions of local reading and writing groups. One of the main aims of this role is to work with local communities and help us reach wider audiences.
The Writer-in-Residence will be contracted on a part-time fixed term contract for 5 months, from Monday 3rd October 2022 until Monday 6th March 2023, with an expected commitment of approximately 35 days applied based on the needs of the Festival and those of the successful candidate.
