About the Festival
The Paisley Book Festival was launched in 2020 as part of Future Paisley, a programme of economic, social, and physical regeneration continuing the excitement and momentum experienced during the town’s UK City of Culture 2021 bid. The Festival is made possible through support from Renfrewshire Council and is delivered in partnership with Renfrewshire Leisure with support from local partners.
Thu 18th Feb - Sat 27th Feb
Paisley Book Festival has become a significant part of Scotland’s rich cultural landscape. This year’s excellent line-up of writers taking part, including the 2020 Booker Prize Winner, Douglas Stuart, confirms its place as a favourite for both authors and audiences.
Over ten days, from Thursday 18 – Saturday 27 February 2021, you can listen to a fantastic array of writers from across the UK and further afield from the comfort of your own home. Why don't you sign up to our YouTube channel?!
The Bookshop
Paisley Book Festival is delighted to announce that bookshop.org will be its online bookseller for the 2021 Festival, an online bookshop with a mission to financially support local, independent bookshops. For every book sold through the Festival’s Bookshop.org page, 10% goes back to Paisley Book Festival, which will go towards promoting future programmes that will encourage reading across Renfrewshire and beyond
