In her latest novel Other Words For Smoke, Irish writer Sarah Maria Griffin weaves witchy folklore and dark magic into a modern coming-of-age tale. Indonesian writer Intan Paramaditha’s story collection Apple + Knife uses fairy-tales to explore occupying a female body in today’s world, whilst her debut novel The Wandering is a choose-your-own-adventure story about the choices we make and those that are made for us.
