No time to write? Only one piece of paper? Flash fiction, or the short-short story, has become very popular. Accessible to beginners, a flash fiction can be completed in a coffee break and offers many opportunities for publication. Yet the form is difficult to master and the best examples are as powerful as any traditional short story. In this workshop you will read some short-short stories, learn techniques to get started, and write flash fiction of your own. Facilitated by Gavin Inglis from the University of Edinburgh.
