For writers, becoming a mother inevitably affects the amount of mental space and physical time we have, but how do we align (or struggle to align!) our identities as writers and parents? Best known for her heart-wrenching memoir Low Born, about growing up in some of Britain’s poorest towns, and her novel Tony Hogan Bought Me an Ice-cream Float Before He Stole My Ma, Kerry Hudson is back to chat with Lisa Clark about how becoming a mother has impacted her approach to writing and life.
