Interactive session where Matt will talk about his writing journey and his many books about famous footballers, including his new book on Andy Robertson.

Bio:  Matt Oldfield is the author of the Unbelievable Football series (winner of the 2020 Children’s Sports Book of the Year) and the Johnny Ball: Football Genius series, as well as the co-author of the bestselling Ultimate Football Heroes series, Play Like Your Football Heroes and Ultimate Cricket Superstars. To date, his books have sold over a million copies worldwide. In association with his writing, Matt works with schools and organisations such as The National Literacy Trust and The National Football Museum to deliver football-based literacy workshops.

Bus hire costs can be reimbursed to schools who are situated more than one mile from where a library event is taking place.

We will inform you if you have been lucky on Monday 30th January.   The library will provide copies on loan of the author’s books for the teacher to use in advance, and can recommend classroom resources if available.
