Chief Chebe is an experienced multi-skilled performing artist, bibliotherapist and storyteller. He uses the healing tradition of African storytelling and traditional instruments in his uplifting sessions. He has visited over one thousand schools and community events, and he featured as a guest poet on CBBC Rhyme Rocket.
Chief Chebe shares the joy of the therapeutic and healing effects of the Djembe Drum and the traditional balafon and the mesmerising stories evoked from lands afar. Using call and response, feet tapping and clapping techniques, he aims to unlock the positive vibration of the inner self as well as benefit from the collective experience of sharing stories and music with others.
